Code of conduct
The boards are for everyone who uses xeroBytes. These rules keep them worth reading.
Be decent
- Argue with ideas, not people. No insults, slurs, threats or harassment, here or in private messages.
- No hate based on who someone is: race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
- Disagreement is welcome. Pile-ons, baiting and following someone around the boards are not.
Keep it useful
- Post in the board that fits. A clear title helps the next person find the answer.
- Share what you tested and how: a build, a Crucible link, a battle report. Show your working.
- No spam, no advertising, no selling accounts or services, and no links you would not click yourself.
Keep it safe
- Never post anyone's personal details, account credentials or private messages without their consent.
- No cheating tools, exploits or ways to break a game’s terms. Talking about game mechanics is fine.
- Nothing illegal, sexual or graphically violent. This is a general audience.
How it is run
- Moderators can edit titles, lock or remove threads and posts, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
- If something is wrong, report it rather than replying to it. Reports go straight to the moderators.
- Text and links only for now. Pictures will come once automatic moderation is in place.
