How often your active skill actually fires, and what rage restoration buys you. Casts-per-fight is the single biggest damage lever (Algorithm A4).
one combat turn is roughly one second
~91 typical: normal attacks + counters + damage taken
on the commander’s active skill (1,000 for most)
Rejuvenate talent, hit-based restoration, Horn of Fury
| Field | Example | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Fight length | 120 turns | a two-minute open-field engagement |
| Rage per turn | 91 | community measurement for a standard march |
| Skill rage cost | 1,000 | the active skill’s listed cost |
| Restored per cast | 120 | Rejuvenate on BOTH paired commanders (60 each) |
Standard commander: a cast every ~11 turns. Rage-cycling builds compress the interval — every extra cast is a full Damage Factor of free damage.
Why this is the biggest damage lever
Surplus rage above the cost is wasted, not carried over — so lowering the cost or restoring rage on cast multiplies total skill output. Rage is also generated by counterattacks and damage taken, with no per-turn cap on counters: being engaged by several enemies charges your active faster (at the price of incoming damage).
